The IRIS STAR Legacy modules are meant to help train future teachers, administrators, and other school personnel. This revision of the Teaching and Learning in New Mexico: Considerations for Diverse Student Populations module offers a broad overview of how diversity (i.e., culture, language, exceptionality, and socioeconomic status) affects learning and how teachers can better meet the needs of all their students in their classes.
