Disclosure is a very personal decision. People with visible and hidden disabilities can benefit from accurate information on disclosure. The National Collaborative on Workforce and Disability (NCWD) provides several articles on Disability Disclosure that help young people, families, and youth service professionals determine appropriate methods of disclosure.
This resource was reviewed by members of the RAISE Advisory Partnership (RAP) and determined to be of “High Quality, High Relevance, High Usefulness” to Parent Centers. RAISE Center is a CPIR partner working with the seven (7) RSA-funded Parent Training & Information Centers to develop and disseminate information and resources that increase their capacity to serve youth and young adults with disabilities and their families.
