Connecticut Parent Advocacy Center

Connecticut Parent Advocacy Center (CPAC) is the federally funded Parent Training and Information Centers for the state of Connecticut. CPAC educates, supports, and empowers Connecticut’s families of children and youth with any disability or chronic conditions, ages birth to 26, and the professionals who serve them. CPAC provides ongoing trainings on topics such as: The ABC’s of Special Education: Understanding the Process, Tips and Tools for Advocating for Your Child with Special Education Needs, Getting to Know Your Child’s Individualized Education Program (IEP), Preparing Students with Disabilities for Success After High School, Getting and Keeping the First Job, and many more.
