Family Matters is a federally funded Parent Training and Information Center that serves 94 counties in Illinois, outside of the Chicago area. As a Parent Training and Information Center (PTIC), Family Mattersprovides information, referral, linkages, and training to parents, students with disabilities, and special education professionals. Family Matters empowers families and professionals to achieve the strongest possible outcomes for students with disabilities.
