In this incredibly rich and informative webinar, experts from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) shared free financial education resources that Parent Center staff can use to help families. Spotlighted were:
- activities for teachers;
- resources that can help parents, grandparents, and caregivers start building children’s financial capability at home;
- information on paying for college, including a free financial planning tool for college students and their families;
- Your Money, Your Goals financial empowerment resources for practitioners;
- money management tools useful when serving people in a virtual context;
- specialized materials addressing the financial concerns of people with disabilities; and
- resources for financial caregivers, fraud prevention tools, and tips for protecting against fraud while using online and mobile banking and financial apps.
